Glee: Special Education

I CAN’T BELIEVE EMMA GOT MARRIED! But I still love her for pointing out to Mr. Schue the obvious, that he only used Finn Rachel and Mercedes! It was great to see some change, even though Rachel and Mercedes are the best singers, they have to give everyone a shot and shake things up a bit. Otherwise, their performances become boring and predictable.
I love that they gave the couple spot to my ultimate favorite couple, as I have said before, Sam and Quinn(or as Rachel called them, Ken and Barbie, haha). They also made a great use of Santana giving her the single, she has an amazing voice! It’s also an opportunity for the actors to display their talents!! Oh, I LOVED Brit and Chang’s moves!! They were awesome!

The end of the competition, however was disappointing. A TIE, come on!! I thought New Directions was superior to Warblurs (is that how you spell it?)in so many ways! I felt bad for the hipsters too, the lady was a really good singer.

Gossip Girl: Gaslit

What an amazing episode! This grim episode and the one before it were the best in a loong time! Juliet’s scheming is reminiscent of Blair’s in season one, only in a more serious tone.

This episode was all about family. It brought back Nate’s mom and dad, as she finally considered divorce, something that was way overdue. I like it when they bring back old storylines, it sucks when characters disappear out of the blue. His father was apparently mending his ways, but in the end it seemed as if he were only acting to get out on parole. It also got us back on the issue of “old” Serena, and how she used to act out and do drugs. I wished the show had started back then. She would have been way more fun! More entertaining, like her book character. I liked how the family bonded in the end though, it was so sweet.

Glee: Furt

I LOVED THIS EPISODE!

I think Sam and Quinn are the cutest couple, he’s so sweet! I can’t believe Quinn didn’t accept the ring immediately!! At least she came back for it later!

I also love Kurt and Finn’s parents’ wedding. The entrance sure reminded me of that great youtube video of an actual wedding. Finn’s homage to Kurt was perfect. I was pissed that he didn’t defend Kurt from that bully, but he definitely redeemed himself. It just struck me as a bit odd that the wedding was all about Kurt instead of the bride and groom. This season he’s becoming the main character of the show!

I’m really liked how the show dealt with his bullying storyline this ep. I feared that the show would go all Teddy and Ian from 90210 and have Kurt act all nice to the in the closet dude and them ending up falling in love and blablabla…cliché. He’s waaay better off with Blaine in an all boy school! But I seriously doubt that’ll last.

Glee- The Substitute

WOW. JUST WOW. I must admit, I was a bit skeptical when it was announced that Gwyneth Paltrow would be guest starring on Glee. But she was amazing, she literally blew my mind. Now I’m wishing she’d stay as Will’s assistance/lover. Other sites even suggested the show to ditch Will and hire her instead!

The rest of the episode was ok.. The tots storyline was a bit meh.. Mercedes does need to loose some weight, she should obey Sue, she’d thank her later! It’s funny, it was the first good thing Sue actually did. But it was for selfish motives of course, and still got hate. I’m also getting a little sick of the gay storyline, they should shake it up a bit. But I loved the little purse. I also liked the Terri closure, I hope the show NEVER features her baby voice though, EVER again. It made me wanna punch her even more.
There was a lack of substance but it’s nice to have one of these fun episodes without much of a storyline like Glee is famous for! Especially when it includes GREAT music! I LOVED the “singing in the rain/umbrella” mashup and that song from Chicago! To balance it out, there should be more focus on the competition and on the couples next episodes.

Vampire Diaries: Katerina

This episode was all about Katherine. She came clear about a LOT, which leaves us wondering: is it all really true?

It all started with Rose telling Elena that Elijah was nothing compared to Klaus.He was THE oldest and most powerful vamp. Elena pretended not to care and then went to the tomb to seek answers from Katherine, with the help of Caroline. I really didn’t get why Caroline, with her superhuman strength, who easily lifted a stone door, wouldn’t offer to carry Elena’s heavy bag. Anyway, she then left the two doppelgängers alone and went to distract Stephen.

Glee: Never Been Kissed

Is it only me or the Beiste storyline was completely exaggerated? I mean, I think it’s completely normal for he boys to picture her in that scenario. It was something in their minds, they weren’t bullying her or harming her in anyway. The problem only occured once Quinn took Sue’s advice and started yelling at her in the corridors. But still, why did Will tell her? Didn’t it occur to him that it would hurt her and it would be simply better to tell a white lie? Anyway, I felt bad for her but I think the guys didn;t have to apologise. And as a techer, she should try to ignore it. She was pretty hilarious though, in lingerie and in the ballet suit! Dot Jones is great!
I find it hard to beleive she’s never been kissed though. Sure, she’s god ugly, but there are always even uglier men. And in her youth she must have looked better, right? I understood Will kissing her but, EEW. I closed my eyes on that part! I think it was unnecessary, and that she should have kept her first kissed to someone who meant it. Someone who didn’t do it out of pity.

Now onto Kurt. I love Darren Criss, he’s hot, and I think he makes a great lover/mentor for Kurt! There’s gossip he will become a series regular, I hope so! Oh, and the jock, I knew something was up with him! a closeted gay! Just like Teddy, lots of teens don’t handle the discovery of being different as well as Kurt. It was nice fo the show to do this, it was also encouraging for Kurt. The boy isn’t bullying Kurt because Lurt is diferent, but because HE is different too. Now Kurt know it has nothing to do with him, he know he’s better than that. I’m sad he was Kurt’s first kiss, well, when it counts. I do remeber a Brittany makeout session. But I wish it had been Blaine!

Apart form these two storyline, the rest of the ep was also nice. I LOVED the girls’ song and I think they should have won hands down. I wasn’t familiar with what the boys sand but it was nice as well. It’s a pity they didn;t dress up as girls, or at least let Kurt dress up with the feathers!
It was pretty unneventful for Will though. I feel that when there’s no emma or Terry he just hangs there. His only use was to rat the kids out to Beiste, hurting her feelings, and then to comfort her. He was basically a tool. Yawn.
There was little of Sue, but she was great as always. It was an overall consistent episode. Just not amazing.

Vampire Diaries: Rose

OMG! Vampire Diaries just keeps getting better and better!! There are no words to explain how amazing this episode was. Bravo writers!! It was perfect, except for the mushy romantic song that played every time Bonnie and Jeremy were together. Can they get any more obvious than that?

I love this new intriguing storyline..although it does remind me a bit of Twilight, which is a shame. Let’s hope the “Original’s” are more fun than the Volturi. I bet they are, based on the last scene. They will have to do much better than a stake to kill acient Elijah. I knew something was up, killing him wouldn’t be that easy.

Now onto the best scene. Damon’s heartbreaking, heartfelt declaration of love to Elena. It could have easily belonged to Romeo and Juliet. Just wonderful. I feel so bad for him, but something tells me that deep in her core Elena knows. When she saw she had the necklace, she knew it was him. I hope their relationship evolves..someday. One can only hope.

This scene also made me fall back in love with Damon. I was in the odds with him since he killed off Mason, my other love. At least now we have a new werewolf, with an equally hot bot. Something tells me he will get hot and heavy with Caroline. What will Matt think of this? I personally love a vamp-werewolf love story ala Katherine and Mason (no references to Bella or Jacob, please).

The Vampire Diaries: Masquerade

Oh. My. God. This episode was unbelievable! So much was going on, two students died, Tyler is FINALLY a werewolf and Katherine was seemingly beat (but not really). She also made some interesting revelations in the end, were they true or lies told in a pure act of desperation? Who knows. Oh, and did I mention that everyone looked incredibly hot in a mask?

Even Jeremy was hot in a tux, I have to admit. Did I mention that I find this character incredibly dull and useless? At least he was a bit useful this episode, helping the gang (although I wish Alaric had gone instead) and flirting with Bonnie. The pairing wasn’t as boring as I thought it would be, even with the clichés “I’m not a little kid anymore”.
